Description

A Space-Saving Queen Murphy Bed With Storage

The Sonja Murphy Bed in Black is a queen Murphy bed for rooms that have to do more than one job, such as a study that doubles as a guest room, or a small apartment. Fold it down at night for a full queen bed, then fold it up in the morning and the floor space is free for everything else.

What to Measure Before Buying a Murphy Bed

Check that the room has enough clear floor in front of the wall for the bed when it’s open, and enough wall height for the unit when it’s closed. For the mattress, pair it with our Flecter Foldable Foam Mattress or Plico Bamboo Folding Foam Mattress, both foldable queen mattresses. As with any tall, heavy furniture, fit the included anti-tipping kit to secure the bed to the wall.

Key Features

Space-Saving Foldaway Design: Folds down to create a queen sleeping surface, then closes back up to open your room in seconds.
Handy Bottom Storage Drawer: A large drawer at the base gives you extra room for linen, blankets, or bedroom extras.
Built for Everyday Use: Full metal sliding rails, locking latches, and an anti-tipping kit help deliver a stable and secure setup.
Generous Weight Capacity: Supports up to 150kg when open, making it a practical choice for regular use.
Modern Finish Options: Available in full black for a bold, contemporary look that adds depth to your room.

Material Care & Maintenance

Wipe gently with a damp cloth, then dry thoroughly.
Keep out of direct sunlight.
Keep the bed away from excessive moisture to protect the finish.
Check the screws regularly after assembly.
Do not exceed the stated weight capacity.
