How thick should the mattresses be for safety?

For safety and to keep the guardrails effective, the suggested mattress height is up to 15cm on the upper single bunk and around 20cm on the lower double. The surface of the top mattress must sit at least 16cm below the top edge of the guardrails.

What is the weight capacity of each bunk?

The upper bunk has a maximum recommended user weight of 100kg and the lower double bunk has a maximum recommended user weight of 200kg. Do not exceed these limits and avoid jumping on the bed.
